Ajman-UAE: Ajman University (AU) has run a special training program for honing the skills of its Emirati fresh graduates and helping them get quick and better jobs in the private sector.

The Office of Career and Placement Services at the Deanship of Student Services, AU, organized the program, known as (Khebrati), in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

Aisha Al Hosani, an Executive Trainer with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, enlightened the graduates present how the program, involving a set of hand-on training, eases and expedites their work with private companies.

“The training contracts sealed with partner companies help them assess the competence of Emirati fresh graduates and provide them with the skills and expertise needed to easily and quickly work in the private sector.”

Not only does the promising scheme decrease the hiring time of new graduates, but also enhances their recruitment chances after completing due field training, she added.

“The program creates a pool of resources for private companies to select qualified candidates, setting a balance between educational outputs and the requirements of labour market.”

“However, no company is forced to hire any graduate,” Al Hosani underlined.
