Abu Dhabi City Municipality:

HE Saif Bader Al Qubaisi, General Manager of Abu Dhabi City Municipality, and HE Mohamed Al Mansouri, General Manager of Wataniya International for General Contracting signed a Musataha agreement whereby the latter will construct and manage two banquet halls in Mohammed bin Zayed and Shakhbout cities. The agreement was made at Cityscape Exhibition 2018 in Abu Dhabi.

The General Manager of Abu Dhabi City Municipality underscored the Municipality's keenness to implement the Government's vision of bolstering partnership and cooperation ties with the private sector. HE also highlighted the importance of supporting development and investment projects and activating the Municipality's assets in a number of tourism, recreational, service and commercial fields by establishing, managing and investing such projects. The project also contributes to consolidating integration and cooperation with the private sector, advancing the comprehensive development drive, renovating public facilities and introducing new projects to meet the community needs.

“The main objectives of the banquet halls in the area, cities and suburbs is to offer premium services to the residents by providing service facilities of high quality, enhancing social life, and delighting the population,” added Al Qubaisi.

Two banquet halls in Mohammed bin Zayed and Shakhbout cities

The project in Mohammed Bin Zayed and Shakhbout cities includes constructing and operating two banquet halls together with other comprehensive services such as wedding dresses rental shops, wedding planners, DG, men's barber salon, ladies' beauty centre, and flower shops. The project will be completed in two years with an investment period of 30 years.

The total area of ​​the banquet hall in the Mohammed bin Zayed City is 12633 square meters, with a floor area of 6560 square meters and a lease area of 5540 square meters. The project costs 21.6 million dirhams.

The banquet hall in Shakhbut city has an area of ​​19377 square meters with a floor area of ​​5940 square meters and a lease area of 5095 square meters. The project costs 19.8 million dirhams.

Real Estate e-Mortgage

HE Saif Badr Al Qubaisi, General Manager of Abu Dhabi City Municipality, and HE Mohammed Salim Al Falasi, Vice President of Central Operations at Dubai Islamic Bank, have signed a Service Level Agreement for the e-Mortgage System.

The step is part of the e-registration system of mortgages, known as e-mortgage, with the aim of registering, revising and redeeming property mortgages.

The signing of the Agreement with the Dubai Islamic Bank stems from the Municipality’s keenness to boost relations with the leading banks in the UAE and fostering cooperative and partnership relationships with strategic partners. It also aims to enhance the monitoring of all matters related lands and properties business in support of the sustainable development of this sector. It also attracts investments and strengthens the local economic development as well as the competitiveness of the economy of Abu Dhabi Emirate.
