Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP) is planning to finalize the transaction advisory services contract for its Az Zour North Water Desalination Plant, part of Az Zour North Independent Water Power Plant Phase 2-and-3 project, located in Al Ahmadi Governorate in November 2020, a sources told Zawya Projects.

"The shortlisted bidders for transaction advisory services contract, which includes feasibility studies, supervision, financial, legal and technical consultancy services, are Ernst & Young, KPMG International and Rodl Middle East," the source confirmed with Zawya Projects.

The scope of work involves the construction of 165 million gallons per day desalination plant with associated systems, the source said.

He added that the project, which he valued at around $950 million, is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2025.
