Background

Dubai South Properties DWC-LLC plans to develop the Dutch pavilion, a part of the Dubai Expo 2020 site in Dubai South, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The project aims to embody Dubai’s overall mission to spur innovation, opportunity, and connectivity. The project will include the construction of a pavilion spanning a land area of 2,170 sq.m with a building height of 15 m. The pavilion includes the development of its exhibition space, business and VIP lounges, restaurants, shops, and functional spaces, such as technology and storage areas, work and office spaces, meeting and reception room, dressing room, prayer room, and toilets. The centrepiece will feature a biotope that produces water and renewable energy. LC&P Consultants FZ LLE is the Conceptual Design, PMC and Construction Supervision Consultants, the Consortium of Expomobilia Ltd , Kossmann Dejong Exhibition Architects ,V8 Architects, Witteveen+Bos is the lead design consultant.
