Road Development Agency planned to develop Lusaka to Ndola Dual Carriageway Project, in Lusaka, Lusaka, Zambia. China Jiangxi International Economic and Technical Corp Co Ltd was the construction contractor. The project covered the construction of 366 km expressway with two way. The construction period was designed to be 48 months. The road from Lusaka to Ndola was linked to other roads leading to Zimbabwe, South Africa, Namibia, Malawi and Tanzania. It would therefore contribute to the flow of goods in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA). This project was part of BRI because of the Chinese financing.
