Inner Mongolia Dun An Photovoltaic Power Co Ltd planned to develop Dun An Urad Back Banner 10 MW Solar PV Power Station Project in 4 Km east of Bayinbaolige town, Urad back banner, Inner Mongolia, China. The feasibility study consultant was 'China Energy Engineering Group Xinjiang Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd (XJEPDI)'. The project was designed to mainly build a new solar photovoltaic (PV) power station with a capacity of 10 MW, providing a average annual power generation of 16334800 kWh/year. The project covered a total area of 193.33 sq.m (0.29 Mu). With the completion of the project, it would achieve a annual reduction of about 12,744 tons greenhouse gas CO 2. The project was in line with the development direction of the local government's new energy industry, which could effectively optimize the energy structure of the local power system and reduce environmental pressure.
