Background

SPIC International Investment Development (Guinea) Co Ltd planned to develop SPIC Guinea Aluminum Project, in Belair, Boffa, Guinea. CPI Power Engineering Co Ltd was the project engineering consultant. China Harbor Engineering Co Ltd was the contractor for port construction. Sinohydro Bureau 3 Co Ltd was the mining contractor. The project covered the construction of 1 berth, 25 km road. The construction period for port project would be 10 months. The main work covered dredging, hydraulic construction, loading and unloading technology, ore yards and roads, buildings and buildings, power supply (excluding generator sets), water supply and drainage, dust removal, fire protection, control, communications and other ancillary facilities. The project had bauxite development resources, and would support the construction of ports, highways and other projects. The project would contribute to BRI construction.
