Haikou Meilan International Airport Phase II Expansion Project

Civil Aviation Administration of China planned to develop Haikou Meilan International Airport Phase II Expansion Project, in Haikou, Hainan, China. The project covered the construction of 3600 m runway, 296000 sq.m Terminal. The newly built T2 terminal area is about 296,000 square meters, focusing on improving the support capacity of international routes, providing conditions for the landing of the fifth and seventh flight rights, and ensuring the annual throughput of international passengers of 8-10 million passengers. The project was a benchmark for a world-class airport.
