Alexandria Petrochemicals Complex Ethylene Cracker EPC Contract

The Egyptian Ethylene and Derivatives Company (Ethydco) plans to construct an ethylene cracker as part of the petrochemicals complex in El Nahda land in Amereya-Alexandria zone, Egypt. The complex is expected to produce 460,000 t/y of ethylene which will be used in the manufacture of intermediate petrochemicals such as polyethylene, styrene, polyvinyl chloride and vinyl acetate monomer which are used in the fabrication of many petrochemical final products. Chicago Bridge & Iron Company is the FEED study consultant. Tecnimont Arabia Co. Ltd. is the PMC.
