195 MW Lagoa Do Barro Wind Power Project

Ministry of Mines and Energy of Brazil planned to develop 195 MW Lagoa Do Barro Wind Power Project, in Lagoa Do Barro, Piaui, Brazil. China General Nuclear Power Group Ltd was the construction contractor. The project covered the construction of 195 MW power plant. The installed capacity was 82,800 kilowatts, and the annual power generation was expected to be 366 million kWh. The project has become a model of China-Brazil energy cooperation and would promote Belt and Road Initiative.
