Allama Iqbal International Airport Runway Upgrading Project

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority planned to develop Allama Iqbal International Airport Main Runway Upgrading Project, in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. China Civil Engineering Construction Corp was the construction contractor. The project covered the upgrade of 3360 m runway. The main works include the renovation and reconstruction of the concrete main runway and connecting roads, as well as the upgrading of drainage ditches and avionics systems. The implementation of the project would further expand Pakistan's external connection window, promote local employment development, and help the local economy set sail.
