Ras Al Khaimah: The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert hosted the opening of an inspiring heritage corner on 19 February 2019, which displayed Ras Al Khaimah’s vintage stamps dating back to 1964-1972. Elegantly crowning the frames in Islamic Calligraphy is a wise and memorable saying by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE:

“A country’s greatness doesn’t lie in the area it occupies; its true greatness is in its culture and heritage.”

Emirates Post Executives at Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and Dubai offices were present along with collectors, local artists, and enthusiasts. The main supporters of the launch, Emirates Post Ras Al Khaimah branch and RAK Porcelain, along with RAK Hospitality Holding, RAK TDA and RAK Historic Society were also invited. RAK Heritage Corner is a permanent display and is open for visitors and hotel guests daily from 9.00 to 22.00 at the Gallery of Spa department.

Nestled in a scenic nature reserve, The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert is a secluded oasis set amongst 500 hectares of desert conservation area. Since launching as a Ritz-Carlton resort in 2017, the hotel has focused on offering exceptional experiences alongside unparalleled service for guests, whilst being committed to providing traditional Arabian hospitality.
