Government of Dubai Media Office – In His capacity as Ruler of Dubai, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum issued Decree No. (5) of 2019 forming the Board of Directors of the Dubai Sports Council, chaired by Dubai Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The new Board will have Mattar Mohammad Al Tayer as Deputy Chairman. The other members are Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Director General of Knowledge and Human Development Authority, Ali Mohamad Bujsaim, Saeed Mohammad Hareb, Mohammad Ali Al Kamali, Ahmad Mohammad Al Shafar, Moza Saeed Al Merri, Lamia Abdulaziz Khan and Mariam Ahmad Al Hammadi.

The new Board will have a renewable term of three years. The decree is effective from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
