Ashraf Sabry: We aim to enhance digital transformation opportunities and develop cashless payment methods for FMCG companies

Fawry FMCG, a leader in payment solutions for fast moving consumer goods companies, has just announced its participation in Food Africa 2021, an international exhibition for food and beverages. Set to be held from 12-14 of December 2021 at the Egypt International Convention and Exhibition Center in New Cairo, the exhibition includes more than 400 companies from 28 countries.

Fawry FMCG will be representing many financial and technological services through its distinguished pavilion at the exhibition. It will presenting its most prominent services through an integrated technological system that utilizes the latest privacy and security methods.

Commenting on Fawry FMCG’s participation in the exhibition, Eng. Ashraf Sabry, CEO of Fawry Group, said: “Fawry FMCG always ensures that it doesn’t miss an opportunity to be present in such exhibitions. This new application will mechanize the operations of demand between merchants and fastmoving consumer goods companies, as it allows the merchant to order products in the required quantities and determine the appropriate delivery date.

He added that the second service that will be launched by FMCG during the exhibition activities is the ‘digital lending’ service to finance purchases from FMCG companies. This service will allow merchants to increase working capital and provide alternatives to cash payment with different financial products in line with the merchant’s needs of products. It will also review numerous digital payment methods and their integration with sales automation and management systems, enabling companies to raise the efficiency of the sales, collection, and financing systems.
