• Passengers can enjoy the Business Lounge before boarding
  • Etihad Wellness programme ensures highest standards of hygiene
  • Free COVID-19 insurance for all passengers

Abu Dhabi – Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, is offering great discounts in the Business cabin to destinations across its network, with return Business fares starting from AED 3,995. The sale starts today and will last until 8 August 2021 for travel until 20 November 2021.

UAE residents and citizens can enjoy the white sand beaches of the Maldives when they fly to Male for AED 6,995. Alternatively, they can try traditional Mediterranean dishes after a quiet stroll down the ancient streets of Athens or indulge in a romantic dinner with a view of the Eiffel Tower in Paris for only AED9,995.

Etihad Airways Business Lounge is complimentary for guests wishing to enjoy Etihad’s premium hospitality before boarding.

Flying to, from, and via Abu Dhabi is supported by the airline’s fully redesigned sanitisation and safety programme, Etihad Wellness, which ensures the highest standards of hygiene are maintained at every stage of the customer journey.

This includes specially trained Wellness Ambassadors, a first in the industry, who provide essential travel health information and care on the ground and on every flight, so guests can fly with greater ease and confidence.

In addition, Etihad has extended its COVID-19 global wellness insurance cover until 1 October 2021. Guests who are diagnosed with COVID-19 during their trip won’t have to worry about medical expenses or quarantine costs when they fly with Etihad.

Etihad was the first airline in the world to announce it is operating with 100% of its crew on board vaccinated. To give guests peace of mind, Etihad is the only airline in the world requiring 100% of its passengers to show a negative PCR test before departure, and on arrival in Abu Dhabi.

In order to make travel as easy as possible, Etihad has extended its ‘Verified to Fly’ travel document initiative across its entire network. Travellers can validate their COVID-19 travel documents online before arriving at the airport, and then access the fast track ‘Verified to Fly’ check-in desks at the airport to beat the queues. To use the service, simply visit ‘Manage my Booking’ on etihad.com and follow the simple instructions to upload and submit travel documents. Guests will receive confirmation once their documents have been approved in line with government requirements and can arrive at the airport assured they meet the required travel guidelines.

Those wishing to book are advised to visit etihad.com and the app to view their options, and to remain informed on the appropriate entry regulations at their end destination.
