British environment minister and prominent pro-Brexit campaigner Michael Gove said on Sunday (May 26) he would be running to replace Theresa May as British prime minister.
Gove told reporters in London that he believed he was ready to united the Conservative and Unionist Party and deliver Brexit.
May said on Friday (May 24) that she would be resigning from her premiership, leaving her post on June 7.
