HAMBURG/PARIS- Tunisia's state grains agency purchased some 75,000 tonnes of animal feed barley to be sourced from optional origins in an international tender which closed on Thursday, traders said.

The barley was bought in three 25,000 tonne consignments at around $205.67 a tonne on a cost and freight (c&f) basis from trading house Dreyfus, at $206.21 a tonne c&f from Glencore and $206.56 a tonne c&f also from Glencore, traders said.

The barley was sought for shipment in March and April in three 25,000 tonne consignments depending on origin selected, they said.

In its last reported barley tender on Jan. 31, Tunisia purchased about 50,000 tonnes of feed barley at the lowest price of $211.92 a tonne c&f.
