MEXICO CITY- A deal between U.S.-based Spanish-language broadcaster Univision and Mexico's Grupo Televisa to create a new company will generate 10 billion pesos ($486 million) in 2021 in tax revenue for Mexico, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Thursday.

The two companies in April announced a plan to create a firm called Televisa-Univision which will feature Spanish-language video content from both broadcasters, including soap operas known as telenovelas, sports and movies.
