HAMBURG- Jordan’s state grains buyer made no purchase in an international tender to buy 120,000 tonnes of feed barley which closed on Wednesday, traders said.

Four trading companies took part: CHS, Sierentz, Ameropa and GTCS, they said.

Another barley tender will take place next week.

Jordan has struggled to make purchases in a series of wheat and barley tenders in recent months, with traders saying uncertainty about changed quality controls and payment terms had reduced participation by major grain exporting houses GRA/TEND
