BEIRUT: Banque du Liban will put into circulation a new LL100,000 banknotes on Dec. 7, 2020, to mark the 100th anniversary for the declaration of great Lebanon, BDL said Thursday.

The new banknote is made from a polymer.

BDL added that the new banknote will enjoy safety and technical features and has Full Color Vivid and Cinema technology.

The banknote bill will carry the signature of Central Bank Gov. Riad Salameh.
