Coronavirus: Bahrain reports 586 Covid-19 cases, 635 recoveries

The Bahrain health ministry has reported 586 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 635 recoveries.

Of the new cases, 144 were among expatriate workers, 433 were contacts of active cases, and nine were travel related.

Three new deaths were reported. The death toll stands at 242.

As many as 9,118 Covid-19 tests were carried out on September 27, the ministry said. The total number of recoveries stand at 62,887.

6,171 cases are stable out of a total of 6,232 active cases.
