61 new COVID-19 cases registered in Bahrain on Wednesday

No fatalities reported and an additional 87 people recovered

Bahrain yesterday recorded 61 new Covid-19 cases and 87 recoveries.

Of the new cases, 28 were expat workers, 26 contacts of local cases and seven travel-related.

An additional 87 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 271,677.

Of the 912 active cases, eight people are receiving treatment and two are in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 273,977 cases.

The kingdom has also conducted 6,202,466 tests for Covid-19.
