Restaurants, cafes within tourist establishments included in Oman closure

Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has confirmed that the Supreme Committee’s decision regarding the closure of all commercial activities in the Sultanate’s governorates will also include restaurants and cafes within tourist establishments between 4th March and 20th March.
A statement issued online by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism said, "The Supreme Committee has decided to close all commercial activities in the Sultanate’s governorates between 8:00 pm to 5:00 am starting from March 4 (Thursday) to March 20 (Saturday). The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism would like to confirm that the closure includes restaurants and cafes within tourist establishments."
"In the event of non-adherence, necessary legal action shall be taken," the statement added.
