RIYADH — The Directorate General of Passports (Jawazat) called on all expatriates, who have not registered their biometrics, to visit Jawazat offices as soon as possible and get their fingerprints registered in its electronic system, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported quoting the directorate.

The expatriates should also bring their dependents with them, the failure of which will result in preventing them from availing of various Jawazat services.

The directorate stressed that expatriates will not be able to carry out any procedures or transactions in the Jawazat computer system if their fingerprints are not registered.

The directorate said it has specified several locations in all regions and governorates of the Kingdom to register fingerprints.

For further information, expatriates can visit the Jawazat website www.gdp.gov.sa. The directorate has also assigned an email address (992gdp.gov.sa) to receive queries and suggestions. — SG
