The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) relayed new instructions, on Sunday, on the new working hours for mobile operator outlets after lifting the curfew as of Saturday.

The work hours during which outlets can serve customers, came into effect on 28 June, and will run from 9:00 to 21:00. On Fridays, outlets will be open to customers from 12:00 to 21:00.

The move comes in line with the Egyptian government’s coexistence plan with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and to gradually open up the country. The reopening measures include operating restaurants and cafes at a maximum of 25% of their capacity, and remove the curfew.
