KHARTOUM- Sudan's central bank governor said donor funds for a scheme that aims to pay $5 monthly allowances to most of the population would be disbursed to the finance ministry from Monday following an exchange rate devaluation.

The disbursal of $400 million for the initial phase of the programme had been delayed due to concerns that the real value of the allowances would have been greatly diminished under the unreformed rate.
