DUBAI- The Dubai Police General Command has recently received Heidi Venamore, Ambassador of Australia to the UAE, who paid the courtesy visit to enhance cooperation between both sides.

Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, received the Ambassador and the accompanying delegation in the presence of Pilot Major General Ahmed Mohammed bin Thani, Assistant to the Commander-in-Chief for Ports Affairs; Brigadier Eid Mohammed Thani Hareb, Director of the General Department of Anti-Narcotics; and several senior officers and officials.

Al Marri discussed with the Australian Ambassador some topics of mutual interest and explored ways of cooperation between the two sides.

He also emphasised the keenness of the Dubai Police on establishing channels of communication with the embassies and consulates in the country.

During the visit, Venamore was briefed on Dubai Police's advanced security services and institutional development, as well as the force’s achievements in combating crimes and implementing smart systems to enhance the safety and security of the community.

Venamore expressed her high admiration of the latest technologies applied by Dubai Police in the fields of combating crime, maintaining public order, and ensuring the safety, security and happiness of all community members.
