Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (Sadafco) has announced that Patrick Stillhart has taken the helm as CEO of the company, this month.

With over 25 years of experience in the food FMCG industry with global conglomerates in Asia-Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, he brings a fresh perspective to this position, the company said in a statement.

Stillhart succeeds Waltherus Matthijs who, after 14 years, stepped down from his position as CEO in October 2021. Under his tenure, the company's market value grew six-fold, leaving it in a very solid
financial and market position.

Faisal Al Ayyar, Vice Chairman at Sadafco, stated: The board and I express our thanks and appreciation to Waltherus Matthijs for his dedication and efforts as CEO of the company. We are delighted to have Patrick Stillhart take its helm. He comes with an impressive track record of building brands and driving growth for multiple businesses around the world. We are confident that under his leadership the business will continue to thrive.

Commenting on his appointment, Stillhart said: I would like to recognise Waltherus Matthijs' dedication and leadership and thank him for building, together with the Board, a stellar organization. Sadafco is at an exciting point in its history, and I am proud to have been appointed to lead it now. I am committed to maintain the culture of excellence that is founded on trust and respect. Together with the board and management teams, I look forward to moving into the next phase of Sadafco's growth."

Stillharts previous experience includes multiple senior regional and international roles with Nestle. As head of DKSH's Consumer Goods business in Southeast Asia and Oceania, he doubled the company's size in three years, tripled the profit, and tripled the cash flow. He has also served on the board of numerous FMCG companies in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. With his growth-focused and result-oriented strategic approach, he has helped many companies achieve operational excellence.--TradeArabia News Service
