Mubasher: Qatar Oman Investment reported a 95.9% drop in profits in the second quarter of the year, as shown by the company’s financial statement.

Profits amounted to QAR 40,000 in Q2-18, down from QAR 980,000 for the same period last year.

As for the first half of the year, profits decreased by 48.3% to QAR 5.44 million in the six-month period ending in June, compared with QAR 10.55 million in H1-17, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Exchange on Wednesday.

Return on equity totalled QAR 0.17 in H1-18, compared with QAR 0.33 for the same period in 2017.
