Oman-based Ahli Bank said it has entered into a strategic alliance with Dhofar Insurance Company, a market leader with a proven track record, in bid to provide a diverse bundle of banking and financial products and services to its customers.
 
As per the deal, Ahli Bank will offer its customers retail products of Dhofar Insurance Company including: Motor, Travel, PA & Others under its 'Bancassurance' portfolio, it stated.
 
On the strategic tie-up, Hana Fahad Al Hinai, the DGM Retail Banking from Ahli Bank, said: "We are pleased to collaborate with the Dhofar Insurance Company. We believe that our customers’ needs are continuously evolving and becoming increasingly more sophisticated."
 
"As service providers, it is hence imperative for us to look for the best ways to provide comprehensive and flexible solutions to meet these constantly changing needs and requirements," noted Al Hina.
 
According to him, Ahli Bank’s Bancassurance offers a wide range of insurance products that can be customised to protect individuals’ assets and property from financial risks arising from various potential contingencies.
 
The insurance products give existing as well as new customers the necessary insurance coverage in the event of any unexpected event, saving the customer from collateral damage that could otherwise affect their savings or investments, or force them to borrow money or sell assets and property to collect funds.
 
That’s not all, providing attractive rates, a hassle-free documentation process and quick turnaround time, the insurance products are available conveniently across Ahli Bank’s branches, he noted.
