Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has signed an agreement with India-based Apollo Hospitals Group, the largest integrated healthcare provider in the Afro-Asia region, for joint collaboration opportunities in the field of healthcare technology.
 
The MoU was signed by Humaid Al Qutami, the Director General of DHA, and Santosh Marathe, the COO of Apollo Hospitals in the presence of Group Chairman Dr Prathap C Reddy at the Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai facility.
 
Lauding the partnership, Dr Reddy such collaborations are the need of the hour considering the ever-changing non-communicable disease burden the world is facing today.
 
He reiterated the group's commitment to associate with Dubai Health Authority on clinical, academic & preventive healthcare.
 
On the deal, Al Qutami said: "The efforts of Apollo Hospitals Group were commendable. DHA values such partnerships and clinical collaboration."
 
The signing ceremony was also attended by Mohammed Saleh Ahmed Al Jalah Al Taneji, Consul General of UAE in Mumbai, Dr Younis Kazim, CEO Dubai Healthcare Corporation and a senior delegation from DHA besides Apollo Hospitals officials Jithu Jose, VP International Division and Shubhra Singhal, UAE Representative.-TradeArabia News Service
