MANAMA: Invita, a provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) and digital transformation solutions, has launched an AI-enabled chatbot called Herbie.

The chatbot is developed by SunSmart Global, Invita’s global AI partner, and is the first in a range of robotic process automation services.

The chatbot delivers human-like experiences across all customer channels including voice, text, web chat, social and mobile, automating up to 70 per cent of customer conversations.

Invita chief executive Rahul Bhalla said: “We are delighted to offer the latest in AI technology. Customers now expect immediate responses and Herbie meets this demand by resolving customer queries instantly and from anywhere.

“It’s the perfect solution to stay connected to customers and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Chatbots are transforming customer communications and that’s why the chatbot market is predicted to increase in value to reach $1.25 billion by 2025,” he added.

Herbie is a highly advanced virtual assistant that can speak to customers as well as text in over 100 languages.

It easily integrates with existing business systems and provides customer insights by tracking conversations and linking teams with potential customers.
