UAE - Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, is taking concrete steps to strengthen its relationships with its brokerage partners, with channel partner sales relative to in-house sales having surged by 15 per cent over the past six months.

Azizi is adopting new and enhanced ways of conducting its business operations, the company said. In line with establishing itself as a mature enterprise, akin to real estate players in more mature markets, the developer is now placing an even stronger emphasis on its professional brokerage network with focus on outsourcing sales rather than executing them directly.

Farhad Azizi, CEO of Azizi Developments, said: "Brokerage firms are of tremendous importance to the real estate industry and to us as a developer. They are the experienced intermediary that upholds the client's best interests and facilitates a transparent flow of information. We thank our brokerage partners for their unwavering support and commitment and look forward to a fruitful and mutually beneficial future that we will foster through several new initiatives.”

“As a developer, our focus is on developing – purchasing prime land, world-class designing and engineering, effective project management, and customer servicing for the communities and buildings that we develop. Delivering quality properties on time is our topmost priority. Ensuring that our customers’ best interests are met and exceeded will always remain at the very forefront of all of our decisions. This is what we specialise in, and while we will also maintain an in-house sales force, we believe that sales are best left to brokerage firms who specialise in this realm.

“Our in-house team will focus more on managing our relationships with our valued channel partners, supporting them in completing sales. This is the model that we are moving towards, which is already a best practice in mature markets. With Dubai evolving so rapidly, a progression that we are very proud to be a part of, we are now pursuing this practice ourselves,” he said.

Azizi Developments considers its brokerage partners an integral part of its business model, with it implementing several new measures to support them, including revamped commission pay-out, discount and fixed-pricing policies, enhanced marketing support, exclusively assigned agency managers, and boosted in-house marketing and PR efforts, among other support functions. Moreover, Azizi is also initiating international roadshows, granting UAE brokerage firms outstanding overseas sales platforms.

The recent restructuring at Azizi Developments has positioned it as a stable, reliable, and transparent developer with customer centricity as its main focus. Azizi is now better adjusted to market conditions and operates more efficiently than ever before, working as the partner that its brokerage firms need, it said.

This year, the company focuses on construction and delivery, as it has marked 2019 as its Year of Construction.

In 2019 alone, Azizi’s contractors have casted over 117 slabs, poured over 165,000 tonnes of concrete, erected more than 45 cranes, and constructed over 120,744 sq m across Azizi Developments’ ongoing projects. The company currently has 54 projects that are to be delivered between 2019 and 2023, and more than 130 projects in their planning phase that are worth several billion dollars, projected to be delivered between 2023 and 2025. – TradeArabia News Service
