HE Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs met with HE Hon Todd McClay, Revenue Minister and Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade in New Zealand, on an official visit to the UAE, at the Ministry's premises in Dubai.  The meeting aimed to discuss and enhance the bilateral relations and cooperation between the UAE and New Zealand. The meeting also reviewed the latest developments with regards to bilateral agreements in addition to the economic and trade indicators between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed the overall development of the UAE's economy, which included several sectors such as tourism, aviation, infrastructure and telecommunication; multiple investment opportunities within the UAE, and the joint cooperation between the public and private sector, which in turn contributed to the process of economic development.

HE Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs highlighted the leadership's wise direction on the economic outlook over the next 50 years, according to what has been discussed during the Government Summit, which kicked off at the beginning of this week. This reflects the strength and durability of the UAE's economy in addition to the UAE's position on a regional and global level and its achievements in all areas, notably the economic diversity that has helped the UAE to move forward and achieve sustainable development.
