Saudi Arabian campaign awarded Emerald and Sapphire for 'Best Use of Cultural Campaign' category

Infiniti Middle East's 'It's Time for Infiniti' campaign has continued to build on its success, collecting awards on both a global and regional stage.

At the 2014 global Cristal Awards - a platform which seeks to recognise the most innovative and successful campaigns from around the world, 'It's Time for Infiniti' was selected to receive the Emerald award for the 'Best Use of Cultural Campaign' category.

At the MENA Cristal's, the success continued with the campaign receiving a Gold for the 'Best Launch Campaign' category and a Sapphire for 'Best Use of Cultural Campaign'. This further builds on the campaigns success at the 2014 regional EFFIE MENA Regional Awards where it won a 'New Product Launch - Bronze award.

"We are overwhelmed with the continued success of this campaign," said Francesca Ciaudano, Deputy General Manager - Marketing and PR. "With 'It's Time for Infiniti', we wanted to create something that really resonated with Saudi nationals. Our aim was to go above and beyond the conventional to portray the Saudi Arabian cultural history. We definitely accomplished what we set out to do as clearly indicated by our results," added Ciaudano.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia campaign, "It's Time for Infiniti", proved a phenomenal success in terms of awareness and brand recognition - exceeding results across the board. Infiniti was the most talked about automotive brand in the GCC with a 62% share of buzz. Additionally, YouTube views climbed to over 600,000 - all in a span of four weeks. The campaign also garnered an earned media value of $US 550,000.

The Infiniti Middle East team's insights into understanding the best way to put across our message in Saudi Arabia - by encouraging and activating Saudi nationals to become brand ambassadors themselves - was key. The campaign focused on activating influential Saudi families, using Infiniti cars, to showcase their heritage and demonstrate their pride for their country.

The campaign was spearheaded by Francesca Ciaudano, Deputy General Manager, Marketing and PR who was also awarded the industry's top Middle East accolade - the EFFIE MENA Marketer of the Year.
