Dubai - The Dubai Investment Development Agency (Dubai FDI), an agency of the Department of Economic Development (DED), and the British Centres for Business (BCB) initiative of the UK Government, have successfully co-ordinated their efforts to bring Mary Gober International (MGI), a world leader in customer service training, to Dubai.

The new office will help MGI to improve its existing relations in the UAE and GCC and at the same time address the diverse demands of the fast-growing service sector in the Middle East and beyond. The UK-based company is already a leading provider of customer service training to world-renowned brands such as TNT, Virgin Holidays, Bank of America, Marks & Spencer, Qantas and Orange.

Ibrahim Ahli, Director, Investment Promotion Division in Dubai FDI, commented: "Given recent trends and the economic vision of Dubai's leadership the role of services in the emirate's diversified economy is bound to increase remarkably. Currently, Dubai is on course to be one of the smartest cities in the world offering best-in-class service experience to residents and visitors."
