The Internet of Things phenomenon is starting to influence business models across several industry sectors. Awareness is now growing on its importance in improving quality of life as much as making businesses more efficient and more competitive.

During his keynote speech addressing industry experts at the event, Murat Ethem Eldem, Senior Director - M2M Services, Etisalat, said, "The transformation, however, is not as easy when a house becomes a smart home, a car becomes a connected car and a glass becomes a smart glass.
