MUSCAT: Oman International Development and Investment Company (Ominvest) started Covid-19 vaccination for its employees and their families. 80% of staff members have so far received the first dose of the vaccine. Second doses will be provided in few weeks’ time.

In collaboration with Burjeel Hospital, the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine was administered at Ominvest’s premises, while adhering to all protocols approved by the Ministry of Health.

“The wellbeing of our staff has always been part of our top priorities. By raising awareness on the importance of vaccination and making it available for our employees and their families, we contribute to the national effort to fight Covid-19. Through vaccination, we also see a glimpse of hope to regain some normalcy in the near future. We do so while maintaining all needed health and safety measures to ensure the wellbeing of our staff and to serve the needs of our stakeholders with greater efficiency”, said AbdulAziz al Balushi, Group CEO, Ominvest.

This initiative by Ominvest is in line with its corporate citizenship, and in support of the government’s efforts to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Since the start of the pandemic, Ominvest has worked diligently to raise health awareness amongst its people and apply all necessary measures at the workplace. Remote work protocols have been in place across Ominvest Group to make sure employees’ safety, work productivity, and business continuity are maintained.
