The UAE's Ministry of Interior has been declared as the best government entity at the federal level.

This came as His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, revealed the results of star-rating for government service centres across the country.

For 2020, smart government services delivery was evaluated.

Sheikh Mohammed congratulated Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

“The year 2020 proved that our vision from eight years ago to launch all governmental services digitally was correct,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.

The star rating system’s new standards focus on customers’ overall experience. They also aimed to assess the consistency of customers’ journey across the different service delivery channels.

Sheikh Mohammed posted three lists:

>> Online websites

The Ministry of Interior topped the list with five stars

>> Apps

The Ministry of Interior topped this list as well, with five stars.

>> Call centres

Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Zakat Fund, Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and Ministry of Health and Prevention received five stars under this category.
