Riyadh –  Saudi Arabia’s National Water Company (NWC) has finalised a total of 91 water and environmental projects during the first half of 2019, with a total value of SAR 3.2 billion, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Mansour Abuthnain, vice president for Projects and Technical Services at NWC, said that these projects will serve up to one million beneficiaries around the kingdom, and will help increase the services coverage rate.

The projects included a treatment plant, household interconnections, water networks, and strategic storage facilities.

Moreover, NWC has signed new contracts worth SAR 2.6 billion to undertake around 106 water and environment projects across the Kingdom.
