Saudi Arabia and Japan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore and identify areas of possible joint work in the entertainment sector, including games, animation and computer graphics.

The chairman of the General Authority for Audiovisual Media Rida Bin Mohammed Al Haidar, and the chairman of the Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East Kazuo Matsunaga, signed the MoU, said a Saudi Press Agency report.

The MoU also includes the exchange of advanced technologies, technical know-how and networks available to the parties in the areas of joint cooperation, training and development of human resources and opportunities, projects and new activities that can be identified within the framework of the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030.
