Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: – Retail Leaders Circle, the preeminent global platform for expert-led debate between policymakers, industry CEOs, and key opinion leaders, has announced the dates for the 7th Retail Leaders Circle MENA Summit.  In a ground-breaking extension of its mandate to create opportunities for deep dialogue and collaboration, the 2021 Retail Leaders Circle MENA Summit will occur in two powerful streams.

Stream One will take place virtually on 29, 30 and 31 March 2021, under the theme "The Global Retail Reset: Disruption, Resilience, and the Power of Collaboration", with speakers and audiences joining virtually from multiple locations including Riyadh, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Cairo, New York, London, and Beijing. The second stream “Reigniting Sustained and Inclusive Growth” will take place in autumn 2021 in Riyadh.

As the global Covid-19 pandemic continues to reshape business, society, consumers, and the world economy, government, and business leaders face an unprecedented set of challenges, which bring with them new ways to reimagine and reset the future of retail, commerce, leisure, and hospitality. The 2021 Retail Leaders Circle MENA Virtual Summit will transpire during this time of unparalleled worldwide upheaval to navigate how these challenges will evolve, as countries attempt to re-build their foundations and businesses aim to re-ignite sustained and inclusive growth.

Retail Leaders Circle is playing a critical role in helping lead the retail industry through its recent period of disruption.

Panos Linardos, Chairman of the Retail Leaders Circle commented: “Our world has changed tremendously during the past year. Gone is the time when we as leaders, innovators, and industry stakeholders could rely on reactivity and agility alone. Proactive and decisive leadership is the most critical pillar of success going forward”.

Retail Leaders Circle will connect a truly global community of ideas, expertise, and cross-border cooperation, spanning multiple time zones, by bringing together the foremost regional government officials, industry leaders, innovators, and other key stakeholders under one digital roof during Stream One to catalyze partnership and growth development and deliver real solutions for a sustainable and brighter future following the global pandemic.

Panos Linardos continued: “Driven by a shared purpose of the power of our industry, we are committed to bringing Stream One of the 2021 program to our engaged community virtually at the end of March, as part of our commitment to drive meaningful change – together”.
