Cairo: Paymob, the leading digital payment solutions company, announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with Club S, which is affiliated with SODIC Sports Management Company, to provide online payment services for the members of this sporting club’s branches (Allegria, Westown, Eastown). Indeed, these online payments will be conducted via the newly launched “S Cash” service, which reduces cash dealings, as well as offering a convenient and an innovative payment experience.

Additionally, the “S Cash” service happens to be also in line with Paymob’s strategy that pays special attention to facilitating the lives of the Egyptian consumers, as well as caring for their ultimate comfort, wellbeing, and safety.

In this context, Islam Shawky, CEO of Paymob expressed his happiness with his company’s cooperation with Club S, stressing on the fact that Paymob unremittingly aspires to provide the Egyptian community with a set of different solutions and services with the aim of creating an integrated non-monetary society. He also mentioned that this new service’s outright objective is to make the lives of Club S’ members smoother and easier, hence give them advanced levels of distinction if compared to other members of other sporting clubs in Egypt.

For his part, CEO of Club S Eng. Ibrahim Zaher pointed out: “At Club S, we are always keen on wielding the state-of-the-art technological systems, especially those related to the various payment solutions, to facilitate the everyday lives of our members. For that exact reason, we chose to deal with Paymob so that we can offer unique and distinguished services to our beloved members.”

Moreover, Club S offers its members a variety of sports and social experiences in Egypt to become an integral part of SODIC communities. The company opened sports and entertaining facilities at the club during 2019, to meet the needs of more than 24,000 residents across SODIC West, SODIC Eastown, as well as Allegria, where the club provides a group of unique advanced sports facilities and equipment in Egypt. As well as multi-use gymnasiums, specialized training academies, restaurants, conference, and banquet halls.

Zaher also expounded that during this past year the club was able to expand, as it increased the number of its branches to three namely, Allegria, Westown, and Eastown. He also mentioned that Club S is expecting to establish a total of five other branches in the next three years. Finally, he concluded his words by accentuating the significance of the role that the online financial solutions and services play in enabling the country to enhance the financial inclusion, reduce the repercussions of the pandemic’s outburst during the recent period, as well as achieve the best means of safety for all the consumers.

It is worth noting that Paymob was established 6 years ago and succeeded during this period in leading the financial technology (Fintech) market. In addition, the company is currently seeking to obtain a license to engage in the activity of providing online payment services in several markets in the Middle East as part of its expansion plans. Paymob is also looking forward to reaching out to one million merchants over the span of the next five years.
