A charity exhibition will take place from August 2-4, in order to raise funds for the Association for the Welfare of Handicapped Children. This was announced at a press conference held on Monday at the Al Bahja Hall, Jungle Restaurant.

H H Sayyida Hujaija bint Jaifar al Said, chairperson, Association for the Welfare of Handicapped Children, said, “A charity exhibition will be organised to raise funds for the Association for the Welfare of Handicapped Children. This will take place on August 2, 3 and 4 at the Al Bahja Hall. The exhibition will open on Friday. It will remain open from 10am to 10pm.”

Elaborating further she said, “It’s an exhibition for clothing, accessories, perfume and more, all needed for Eid celebrations and other occasions. We have both Omani and Bahraini businesswomen who will participate in this event.

“We raise funds for the handicapped children. We have 11 centres all over Oman. It’s our third exhibition. The first and second exhibitions were a great success.”

The entry fee to the exhibition is RO1, she said. “Several bloggers will come on Thursday and speak about the exhibition. On Friday, we are expecting more than ten Royal family members at the opening ceremony. I thank Al Raffd Fund and Bank Sohar for supporting us a lot.” The press conference was attended by Tariq al Farsi, CEO, Al Raffd Fund and Mujahid Said Daud al Zadjaly, deputy GM, IT and Alternate Channels, Bank Sohar.
