• Pocket-sized solution offers seamless contactless payment anytime, anywhere in store and on delivery
  • Eliminates challenge of long checkout queues in stores

Dubai:  Network International, the leading enabler of digital commerce across the Middle East and Africa, is collaborating with Ezetap, one of India's largest payment solution providers, to help UAE merchants overcome the challenge of long checkout queues in stores.

The Ezetap smart payment solution will support UAE merchants looking to enhance customer experience and safety measures as the country continues its economic recovery and prepares for a resurgence of inbound visitors.

It will enable merchants to scan products and accept card payments within stores and on delivery, eliminating the need for customers to wait in line at a payment counter – making the shopping experience more convenient.

The pocket-sized mobile card swipe machine accepts all major schemes. It can work as a standalone non-integrated solution as well as an integrated solution for merchants who have their own business applications.

“Customer experience is the holy grail for retailers. As business activity rebounds into growth and adoption of contactless payments accelerates, we are delighted to offer UAE merchants and their consumers the flexibility and convenience of smart mobile point of sale solutions. Our collaboration with payments technology pioneers like Ezetap builds on our decades-long commitment to strengthening the UAE payment ecosystem and delivering value-added payment solutions that strengthen merchants’ value proposition to their consumers,” said Andrew Key, President for Merchants and Governments, Newortk International.

“We are excited to collaborate with Network International in offering our Ezetap Payment Platform to their merchants across the UAE. Our platform has been proven across 350,000 merchants across India and the UAE. The version launched with Network International will include an Android-based SmartPOS designed to simplify and speed up the checkout process, enable mobile payment acceptance, enhance the customer experience, and offer several other value-added services,” said Byas Nambisan, CEO, Ezetap.

In addition to offering merchants and their customers the convenience of anytime, anywhere payments, the solution leverages Network International’s trusted payment infrastructure and track record in delivering safe and flexible payment solutions designed for local businesses.

Founded in 2011 by two Silicon Valley veterans, Ezetap operates on the vision of being the single solution through which businesses complete any financial transaction with their customers, supporting every instrument and method that their customers want to use.
