Mubasher: Kuwait’s inflation went up 0.27% in September 2018 compared to the same month last year, according to the latest official data.

The consumer price index (CPI) of Kuwait rose to 113.1 points in September this year from 112.8 points in the same month a year ago.

On a monthly basis, the GCC country’s inflation edged down 0.09% when compared to September 2017 when it reached 113.2 points.

Ten groups, headed by cigarettes and tobacco basket with a 13.5% rise, caused the inflation rate to increase on an annual basis.
