Ministry of Economy, MoE, and Dubai Health Authority, DHA, teamed up with some private healthcare entities to provide free medical screening to the public, particularly tourists, in celebration of the International Day of Happiness, which is celebrated on 20th March. Medcare, Zulekha and Al Zahra hospitals, all members of Dubai Health Experience, DXH, conceived by DHA, joined hands to provide free healthcare services to the public in recognition of the international event.

Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, reiterated the ministry's commitment for adopting, in association with the federal, local and private sector entities, initiatives in line with the vision of our wise leadership aimed at making people, both locals and expats, lead happy and prosperous life. Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director General of DHA, said that all people in UAE enjoy today very modern and luxurious life style, thanks to the care and attention paid by the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. This initiative represents a great push to the successful partnership between MoE and DHA, he added. Al Qatami also valued the, "the ministry's great efforts, particularly in boosting health tourism".
