Abu Dhabi –   Five countries provided 46.6% of Abu Dhabi’s total imports in the first quarter of 2018, which recorded AED 26.3 billion; Japan, Saudi Arabia, the US, India, and China.

Oman came first in terms of retail sector imports, followed by Japan, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and the US, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).

“The total value of the emirate’s exports reached AED 116 billion in Q1-18, with China occupying first place in terms of business sector exports with AED 1.8 billion, followed by Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and India, which accounted for 52.9% of the sector,” WAM reported.

Also, another five countries made up 83.3% of the UAE capital’s export sector, as France leading the list with total exports of AED 8.8 million, followed by Germany, Italy, Djibouti, and Spain.

“The US occupied first place in the government imports sector, with a value of AED 530.3 million, followed by France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. These five countries accounted for 92.7% of this sector.”
