Dubai – UAE: In line with its ongoing efforts to collaborate with banks, Federal Electricity and Water Authority has signed a cooperation agreement with Mashreq Bank, which enables its customers to pay their bills through the Bank's various channels inside and outside UAE.

The agreement was signed by Sheikha Murad Al Balushi, Director of Revenue and Credit Department at FEWA, and Subroto Som, Group Head of Retail Banking at Mashreq.

Commenting on the agreement, Al Balushi said that the Federal Electricity and Water Authority is entering into a new agreement with Mashreq as part of its continuous efforts to provide more channels of payment to its customers. She noted that the Authority has signed similar agreements with several other banks recently for the same purpose.

Al Balushi added that the Authority's efforts in this area allow its customers to pay their bills issued by the Authority through various channels, including electronic payment, Emirates Post, ATMs, payment machines, in addition to several banks.

Subroto Som, Group Head of Retail Banking at Mashreq Bank added, “We are pleased to partner with the Federal Electricity and Water Authority to offer customers in the UAE an easy and effective solution to pay their utility bills.
