Dubai, UAE : Ai Everything (AiE), the world’s foremost summit on Artificial Intelligence (AI) kicks off in Dubai tomorrow April 30th, 2019, at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Ai Everything is hosted by the UAE’s National Program for Artificial Intelligence with the support of global association partners International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in strategic partnership with Smart Dubai.

The global gathering will witness over 180 renowned speakers, more than 100 of the most cutting-edge tech companies and start-ups from over 25 countries and will feature over 100 hours of power talks., bringing together the world’s most forward-thinking visionaries, enterprise brands, policy shapers, c-suite executives, academics and AI evangelists. 

A THRIVING GLOBAL COMMUNITY AT AiE BRAVE AWARDS  FINALS

The Ai Everything BRAVE Awards, will recognise and reward companies, first-movers, innovators and entrepreneurs who have bold visions for AI strategies and its adoption.  With more than 50 applications from close to 10 countries, including the United States, Russia, Malaysia and Turkey,  the 15 finalists take to the keynote stage on day one for industry recognition and top honours.  

Finalists include Dubai-based CAFU, which provides on-demand-mobility solutions and is the region’s first fuel-delivery-service. Harvard-incubated BrainCo, with its brain-sensing headband and AI-powered analytics platforms that can track users’ attention levels in real time, as well as Pony.ai, which builds full-stack autonomous vehicle technology in the US and China are amongst the contenders.

The impressive line-up of AiE Brave Awards finalists also includes US based Petuum, SoundHound, FairFrame, Icertis, as well as established household names such as La Roche-Posay from France and Granati BBVA from Turkey. Regional powerhouses from the UAE competing with global participants include Alef Education, Passpadu, Bayt.com, Property Finder, Etisalat, Emirates NBD and Abu Dhabi Police.

GLOBAL INNOVATORS SHAPING THE FUTURE WITH CUTTING-EDGE TECH 

The free-to-attend Ai Everything exhibition will see over 100 of the latest innovations in AI from companies and startups including Alibaba Cloud, Alteryx, BrainCo, Dataiku, DEWA, Dubai Health Authority, Google, Hikvision, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Huawei, Injazat, Microsoft, PwC and Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), and more.

Showcasing its latest computer vision and deep learning technologies will be China headquartered SenseTime, the most valuable AI start-up in the world. “Our mission is to lead AI innovation, power the future and leverage our cutting-edge technology to transform business ecosystem of industries. Championing the spirit of enterprise, Ai Everything will also feature the Supernova Challenge, the world’s third largest start-up pitch fund,  with a prize pool worth US$100,000, and submissions from 14 countries. Ai Everything will also be the setting for the Middle East’s debut of Kaggle Days, a two-day global offline competition that is organised by Google-owned Kaggle and Warsaw-based LogicAI in partnership with Dubai Police and the Dubai Police Science Council to build solutions aimed at elevating the city’s position as one of the safest, smartest and happiest places in the world.
